A-1 Yankovich Inn

This is a nice bed and breakfast on a 2 acre estate on top of a hill right across the road from the University Arboretum. It is slightly rural without being remote. It is 5 miles from the center of town and just a couple miles from the Chena river and Tanana River. I serve a complete breakfast and being an avid fisherman myself, I am always willing to share tips on the local fishing. I offer two rooms; Aurora room and Solstice room. Each rooms has a Queen size bed and one has a rollaway for an extra person. The full bath is shared by the two rooms and sometimes the other room isnt taken. My rates are $99.00 per night and that includes the full breakfast.

I have lived in Alaska for over 50 years. I am an avid fisherwoman myself and have had pretty good luck. There is a variety of fish in the streams nearby; Grayling, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Whitefish,Sheefish,Northern Pike,Rainbow Trout and land locked Salmon plus all the different Salmon runs that occur from June to August. Sockeye (red salmon), King Salmon, Silver Salmon are probably the top ones. I have a nice bed and breakfast and I can also store luggage for you while you are on your fishing trip.
