Blackfish Lodge

Blackfish Lodge is a charming fly-in or boat-in floating fishing lodge. If you’re looking for seclusion, great fishing and the personal service that only a small lodge can offer, then we’re your kind of place.

Blackfish Lodge is located in Canada near the northeast coast of Vancouver Island about 200 miles (350 kilometers) northwest of Vancouver, BC. Combining saltwater (salmon & haliubt) and freshwater (trout, steelhead, salmon) fishing, a stay at Blackfish Lodge means angling opportunities for all skill and experience levels.

When you reserve your guided fishing trip with us there are no pre-set fishing hours. We fish as conditions and your preferences guide us. Our maximum capacity of 6 guests at any one time assures you of great individual attention. We will guaranty exclusive use of the lodge for parties of six . Individuals, groups of friends, business groups, and families are welcomed.

The area surrounding the lodge is spectacularly scenic, affording many opportunities for viewing both marine and and terrestrial wildlife. Whales, bears, and eagles are just a few of the animals on the wildlife menu . And, speaking of menus, the food at Blackfish Lodge is both plentiful and wonderfully prepared.

While we are remote, we’re very accessible via daily scheduled floatplane service from Seattle, WA (in season) or year-round from Campbell River, B.C.
