The Flyfisher Ltd. established Denver’s first fly fishing outfitter/guide service and we continue to set the standard for service. The most valuable asset that we offer is an extremely skilled staff. Whether taking a class, fishing with a guide, choosing new equipment or just talking fly fishing in fresh or saltwater, you will find a friendly, knowledgeable angling professional ready to assist you and share your love of our sport.

Our professional guides offer personal, attentive service and instruction. We fish on Blue-Ribbon and Gold Medal trout water, both public and private. And we fish year-round. We will provide transportation, equipment, and lunch. We will take care of every detail, so don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the area. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the fishing.

While on the water, your guide will point out the best pools and riffles, discuss entomology, suggest flies and demonstrate successful techniques. If you need a little practice honing your skills, we’ll be glad to provide some on-the-spot help. When you want a little time to yourself, we’ll step out of the way.

The Flyfisher guides specialize in walk-and-wade and float trips. Whether you choose private or public water, your guide will encourage catch-and-release. Client is responsible to have their fishing license with them when they report for the trip or trip time will be used to obtain the license.

Full Day Trips

Our Full Day guide package includes rental equipment if needed (rod/reel/waders), terminal tackle, beverages, lunch (cold cut sandwich is included) and 12 flies per angler per day. We typically fish from 8 am until 4 pm. A gratuity for the guide is not included (apx 20%). If you use more than 12 flies per angler per day the additional flies purchased on the water will be billed at $2.50/fly.

½ Day Trips

Our ½ Day guide package includes rental equipment if needed (rod/reel/waders), terminal tackle, beverages and 6 flies per angler per day. The ½ Day trip lasts 6 hours from pick-up to drop-off and typically includes 4 hours of fishing. Trips can be arranged in the morning or afternoon. A gratuity for the guide is not included (apx 20%). If you use more than 6 flies per angler per day the additional flies purchased on the water will be billed at $2.50/fly.

Corporate or Group Trips

Our Corporate Full Day guide package includes rental equipment if needed (rod/reel/waders), terminal tackle, beverages, lunch (cold cut sandwich is included or a specialty hot lunch like steaks on the grill or BBQ can be arranged) and flies. If selected, private water rod fees are additional based on the property. We typically fish from 8 am until 4 pm. The gratuity for the guide(s) is included. We bill all corporate trips in full in advance.

Hotel and/or Airport Pick-up / Drop-off

For a nominal fee your guide will pick you up and drop you off at you hotel. Providing door-to-door service and saving the need to navigate the mountain roads. If you need a ride to or from the airport we are also happy to assist. Our special transportation fees are considerable less that renting a car or hiring a cab, and we are happy to do it.
